You should be fine understanding most of the conversations when guided by context. However, some of the characters speak quicker when stressed and some have a very quiet manner, which may get challenging at times.

If you decide to focus on new phrases, have a look at these: confirm appointment, reach for the stars, somebody’s head is on the chopping block, ring off the hook, go up in smoke, own up to something, call the shots, and have large shoes to fill.
